Custom Torsion Springs Manufacturer in Taiwan

Single and double torsion springs, including matched left- and right-hand wound pairs — a configuration we've produced for two decades in door and hinge hardware. Send your drawing or a sample for engineering review.

What we manufacture

Single torsion springs and double torsion springs (two coil sections joined by a straight or offset bridge, used where a single spring can't deliver enough torque in the available space). Left-hand and right-hand wound pairs are produced to match — this is routine for us, not a special request, from two decades supplying door-hardware manufacturers.

Materials

Music wire (ASTM A228), hard-drawn wire, oil-tempered wire, stainless steel 302/304/316/17-7PH, chrome silicon, chrome vanadium, phosphor bronze, and Inconel X-750.

Manufacturing & inspection

Torsion leg geometry and left/right matching are checked at final inspection, along with torque testing at the spec'd angle and dimensional review of leg length and angle. Each order is routed to the factory in our network with the right coilers and tooling for the wire diameter and complexity, and we manage engineering communication, quality, and logistics as your single point of contact. Material traceability is standard; PPAP-style documentation is available on request. See our Quality & Material Traceability page for the full detail.

How ordering works

  1. Send your drawing (PDF/STEP/DXF) or a sample through our RFQ form.
  2. Our engineers review manufacturability — leg geometry and wind direction are the most common clarification points — and confirm the spec with you.
  3. We quote with clear pricing, tooling (if any), and lead time.
  4. Samples in about 4–6 weeks; production in 60–90 days.
  5. Inspection report, neutral packaging, and worldwide shipping (EXW/FOB/CIF/DDP).

If your torsion spring is for a door closer, self-closing hinge, or similar door-motion application, see our Door & Architectural Hardware OEM page — this is our deepest area of experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you produce matched left- and right-hand wound pairs?

Yes — this is routine for us, largely because of two decades supplying door and hinge hardware manufacturers who need mirrored pairs as standard.

What tolerance can you hold on leg angle?

Standard commercial tolerance follows DIN 2096 or JIS B 2704; tell us which angle is functional and we'll control that dimension first. Tighter tolerances are quoted case by case.

Can you reverse-engineer a torsion spring from a physical sample?

Yes. Mail us the sample; we measure wire diameter, body diameter, coil count, leg geometry, and wind direction, then send a formal drawing for your approval before production.

Do you test torque, not just dimensions?

Yes — torque at the specified deflection angle is part of standard inspection, alongside dimensional checks on leg length and angle.

Ready to move your supply chain to Taiwan?

Send us a drawing or a rough spec. You will hear back from an engineer — in English — usually within 2–3 business days with an initial response.
